I spent 6 week in NO area after Katrina, loved the area, interesting mixture of  great friendly folks and slugs, but much of the world is that way.  Took me a little bit to get used to every woman calling me sweetie, darling, baby or honey.  Many guys just called you cuz, and would talk about hunting or fishing until you literally walked away.

I went to NO once and didn’t care for it.

Hunting and Fishing to me is much better here.

Black women take better care of their selves down there and better looking. And always very polite. Least that was the way they were in the ‘80’s.

Always thought it funny, had a woman in my Pickup, she was looking through stuff. What you looking for? Yankee stuff. LOL

My wife got mad at me hanging out with a Cajun Girl. Like I told her we was just friends. My wife did learn their language.

I was looking for work. Was told I was stupid this is the Poor South go on Welfare.

I love Nola. But man does it stink!

Went there for a week in college to play in a big baseball tournament. The coach turned the boys loose two nights while we were there to see Bourbon Street. I was married so I was well behaved  but the younger players for the most part partied hard. We didn't play that well the next day.

We don't patronize Bourbon St much. We go to eat and day drink at the better establishments..

We don't now either.   A few places are must go to like Central Grocery for lunch...
