I totally agree.  We've spent more than a few days at Tablerock with a light wrap on because it was chilly.  I borrowed my light wrap from @Terrierman.   He gave his favorite shawl.  Kids still swim though....

The kids swam, and I wet waded Tues-Wed.   It wasn't exactly pleasant.  Sure slept good those 2 nights though.  And the lack of bugs sure made it pleasant.
