Between the fishing boats, stupid kayaks, and abysmal jet skiers, Taney has been insane with traffic this year. Can't wait until the winter. And on low water I had to go through the slot at the narrows getting dirty looks from all the guides lined up in there. Like it was okay for them to be in there but not my wife and I passing through. We were polite and idled thought but you would have thought we were dropping in below their drift. The only decent one was Brett at Chartered Waters. I know him somewhat and we talked for awhile and he confirmed that the guides thought that was their area. Just a crazy amount of people on Taney the past two years....

Just a crazy amount of people on Taney the past two years.... I know most of them and the only one who is a dbag normally is Sappington. Gets his boat sideways and tries to be a bully. Most know the drill though. Even he was nice about it when I was down there. Just something you have to live with, with all the people on there. It really is crazy how much traffic is on the lake now. I remember even 3-4 years ago it'd be nothing to be the only boat fishing late in certain (productive) areas. Seth Posted September 8, 2020 Posted September 8, 2020 Even during the winter it seems to be pretty busy on the weekends unless the weather is absolute trash. Bring on the nasty, miserable fall/winter weather! laker67, Ryan Miloshewski and snagged in outlet 3 3

He was side ways in there (narrows) today with the water off and knew darn well I had to be in the channel to get by him, I literally had to idle by him with a foot to spare between the boats and he wouldn't even look me in the eye. I was ready for him if he said anything but he didn't. Every other guide on this lake is great but him...... I'm not a fan what so ever Ryan Miloshewski and snagged in outlet 3 1 1

Seth Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Is Sappington the one with the brown trout pattern on the entire side of his boat? If so, dad has the pleasure of running in to him at Cooper Creek this summer. He said he's not sure if he has ever talked to anybody so full of themselves. Dad mentioned something about Bablers record brown and all that guy could do was cry about how it wasn't right that it was caught on a pink worm instead of a fly. I'm sure he knows his stuff and is a great fisherman, but I don't think I could handle being around that type of person for very long. snagged in outlet 3 1

He tried to wave me up on the gravel bar in the narrows in Lilley's boat once.
