Looks like i came across this thread a bit late, but......being a guy that wears shorts outside year round, those fall days when those little suckers are tearing my legs up, are the worse.

a few weeks back i was working on a house, and was getting eaten up outside, and the homeowner asked why i was constantly itching my legs. I informed her of why, and she said they have never heard of oak mites. About 30 minutes later she came out, after reading online, and apologized, tho it wasn’t her fault. They will drive a guy crazy. It’s almost daily a few times a year for me.

i was in my boat in the far back of a cove across from my cove last evening right at dark and under a bunch of trees. After being there a bit i had the feeling things were crawling on me and was scratching everywhere. Think they could get you on the water? I got out of there and and never ended up with any bites so maybe it was something else. Or maybe i am not the allergic to them?

They don't leave visible bite marks on me either.  They just make me feel like my skin is crawling.  Actually it feels like they are crawling around UNDER my skin.

It's like they crawl into your pores and just have a party in there.

It's worth a try I guess.

I tried both of these last year, to no avail.  IMG_20200916_151808224.jpg

Check out this website. I bet you can find something here that would help if there is anything out there that would. I had some guys from a pest control company turn me on to this DIY pest control website. I am able to buy the exact same chemicals the professionals that have come to the house used, but for a small fraction of what it cost to hire them.
