Hmm.  I learned something today.  I always thought that you only needed a trout stamp if you wanted to keep fish.  CNR didn't need one.  Well on Taneycomo I guess that's not the case above Hwy 65.  I've always had one when I've fished up there, but I had planned on keeping a few if I was catching enough.

I get fishing/small game and trout every year.  Haven't hunted in 4 or 7 years, usually dont trout fish, until the last couple years.   I've spent way more on way less.  Mostly unused tackle.

In MO, I always bought the fishing/hunting combo with the trout permit. Then spring and fall turkey firearms permits. Archery permit and usually a firearms Any deer and one to two antlerless permits. Very few years did I ever get close to filling all of my permits.

Though I keep track, I really don't want to know how much I spend on out of state fishing licenses and permits for the last two years . I bought licenses and fished in the following states since Jan 2019:

Maryland, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Delaware, Illinois, Kentucky, Texas, Kansas, Georgia, Virginia (actually no license needed so far since my MD saltwater lic. covers VA saltwater) , North Carolina, South Carolina, Nebraska, and Pennsylvania.
