Oh HELL NO!   Nothing looks more alien and gross as a wet Squirrel. And there's no way I was going to allow THAT.   I wooshed him away and he made his way safely to the bank.  He tried to climb up the nearest tree.....but apparently they can't do that with a few pounds of water weight hanging onto them. 

I had one climb me out in the backyard because the neighbors dog was after it. It was perfectly fine riding on my shirt until I got next to a tree.

We think the same!  😜  A 'squatch messing with me was on my list of possibilities.  They've been sighted/reported in the area.  They must have a great sense of humor...cuz let's face it...it'd be hilarious to throw a dead squirrel at somebody.   And I even mentioned the potato gun delivery method to my wife when I told her about it.

Squirrel might have gotten into some Fentanyl or bath salts. Our urban wildlife have allot of bad habits.
