I have one of those in the shed somewhere. I need a smaller puck than what came with my last Garmin, 6-7" long. 

Side image is not really needed anyway.

I have found that a good unit with gps helps you find your way back down stream when running shallow.  If it worked on the way up and you follow the same little blue line it should be fine going down.

Finding fish, its pretty useless.  But the map and track line is great.  Rivers look different coming the other direction.

Is that with or without a transducer? If it's with, that's a deal that can't be beat.
