WestCentralFisher Posted Sunday at 01:23 PM Posted Sunday at 01:23 PM A rather forbidding looking Mark Twain Lake, the morning after a storm. Met my brother for an attempt at his maiden voyage on the used Boston Whaler he recently purchased. The motor never quite got around to turning over, but I got to see a new place and spend a day outside, which is always worth doing Daryk Campbell Sr and dpitt 2

Pick your dates to avoid busy times (spring break, weekends) as crowds/traffic can be a b*tch. We had mid-40s in the morning and low-70s in the afternoons. Never broke a sweat in the dry air and 4,000 altitude. Oak Creek runs from mountains north near Flagstaff downstream to Sedona and has trout, including stream-bred browns and stocked rainbows. Caught a couple stocker rainbows. Nothing really special, but added AZ trout to the list. snagged in outlet 3, BilletHead, dpitt and 1 other 3 1 John
ness Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago FYI-Lotsa movies were filmed in the Sedona area. Watching Broken Arrow (1950) tonight. Here's Jimmy Stewart sending smoke signals with Cathedral Rock in the background. And he scores with young Indigenous American girl there too. John
