Its certainly possible.  Others have done it.  I caught a number of them on lures, back before I got into flyfishing.  Once I started flyfishing, I stopped fishing those places that had flatheads. 🙄

@FishnDave if it weren't for weather/Covid I would have helped you get Chain Pickerel already, but we will make that happen before June. You have shots at Warmouth and Bowfun too.

53) Spotted Bass , It took me 1/2 through April, but I got it Done. I probably had a dozen Spots today.

JF 24) Striped bass, Morone saxatilis. Just a baby probably from last years year class. Only fish that I caught this afternoon but it will click.👍
