Hello, Gentlemen.  I very recently relocated from Shell Knob on Table Rock to be in a quieter and beautiful place here.  My place is in Midway but just a bit east of Lakeview.  I’m doing some renovating on the house and I have only had time to drive to Lakeview launch ramp and see that it is not usable.  Where can I launch from? I still have a lot of work to do but am looking forward to getting out when able.  I’m a C&R Bass fisher, just recreational and far to relaxed for derbies.  Thank you.

I hope you enjoy your new pond. And thank you again for the plastics you sent.

Happy New Year Pepe. First of all, I hope you enjoy the new home and new area. Shoot me a PM if you have questions about local eats etc.

I’m not like everybody else. I would rather trailer to where I’m gonna fish and not run in the boat a long way, but there are lots of ramps on Bull Shoals that you should be able to use.

CR15 is a good ramp way up Howard’s Creek arm. Road is rough right before the ramp so just take it easy on that last 500 yards before the ramp. That one is just up the road from you off Hwy 5 North.

Bull Shoals Boat Dock is usable until about 574. Water gets over the road too much after that. I was the last boat out one year before they closed the road for weeks. That ramp puts you at the mouth of Jimmy Creek.

There is a nice ramp right at the dam, but kind of a run to get to the fish.

I love fishing the Oakland area and there is a ramp there at the park.

Those four ramps all have courtesy docks which makes solo launching much easier and better. There are lots more, but that gets you started anyway

Good Luck and Good Fishing.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.  It is very much appreciated.   I have a shop again so expect to be making soft plastic baits & jigs soon.  It’s a hobby for me because I don’t want to have to do it.  Now I just need to find a carpenter to modify my garage to fit the boat.
