Just a guess but with it being around 60 on Tuesday I would say that Wed would be a safe bet for launching but you might need a torch to thaw out the fish if you catch any. lol

I have never been in ice out water that didn’t offer some surprises.  I’ve hit a lot of ice that wasn’t visible until I was right on it.  So if you go be careful.

I started seeing the ponds forming holes yesterday. The snow pack is a great insulator.

There will likely be ice in shaded coves for a long time, but I don't think it will take long for the main lake to break up.

Went to greenfield access and sons creek about 9 am today, Still froze solid.  I am betting friday.
