Cape Fair / Virgin Bluff

I have not seen this in the 5-6 years I have been down here. I am sure many of you have.  Lake is frozen from bank to bank. Thought I would share it with you all.

Tuesday they are predicting temps in the 60's with a stiff wind.  What a change!

Saw someone ice fishing on TR (Facebook).  When's the last time that happened?!  70's?

I just saw some Cape Fair Marina pics.  There was actually some open water.

We have been home owners since 1991 and have never seen this !

I am about 1/2 mile up from the marina and there is no open water here.

Are you on Melton’s Peninsula or across the lake?

I am across the river at the very next boat ramp.

It is starting to break up - another day or two like today and I will be able to launch again.
