Boat Parking / Charging

My family and I will be coming to Branson for a week in late April.  We will be staying at a condo at Emerald Point but, they do not have the ability to charge the boats at least I do not think they do, so I am looking for how you guys would keep your boat charged and stored securely.  We will likely fish about half the time maybe a little more while we do other things about half the time so securing my boat is important.

So, what do you recommend on how to charge and safety secure the boat.  I have never done this before so I am just wondering what is the best route.  Thanks.

When I stayed at Emerald Point I dry docked my boat at the marina there and they had electrical hookups to charge the batteries.  They put your boat in when you want it too (when they are open that is).

I just called and they charge $29 per night.  Does that sound about right?

Find the nearest Marine repair shop and drop it off there.   Ask them to charge the batteries and check the air in the trailer tires.  

Pick it up and pay them (probably 30.00) when you are ready to go fishing.   

When done fishing, drop it off again and ask them to charge the batteries and change the gear lube. 

Pick it up and pay them when you wanna go fishing again (probably 30.00) 

Rinse and repeat.   Have them do spark plugs, change a fuel filter, or some other mundane $#!t next time.

This is what these bi-monthly city peckerwoods (who just don't want to tow their boats back home and want cheap storage)  do to me until I get tired of it and stick it in their @$$ real good.   😂

Long extension chord and you can get creative . I travel all over with mine and usually have 2 50 ft chords.

Personally I would pay the extra fee, if it meant that on a given day I got back to condo early I could putter off for a little quiet fishing, even if only for an hour or so.  Probably the cheapest thing you will do on any given day.

I think that is about what I paid a couple years ago.  It's really not bad since a slip usually costs $15/night or so.
