Cool, I'm still on the fence on whether I will go to Big M or the dam end of Beaver, but if I go to Big M, I'll keep an eye out for you.  I have a silver/black Phoenix towed by a Silver F-150.

I went fly fishing below Beaver Dam last Saturday. Went Indian Creek Road to Dam Site Road just to run the ridge with views of the lake. It was beautiful with all the snow, and no visible ice on that end of the lake.

When the water is below 40 degrees, I fish for trout or water systems where the water temp > 40 degrees. Trout bite all year.

That equates to a 4 hour drive each way for me.  So I can't do that all the time.  Sometimes you just "try' to make lemonade....
