jdmidwest
When you run a vacuum cleaner/jacuzzi, stuff gets stirred up in the mix. Things get clogged fast and no water out the peehole. 2 weeks ago, Current River ramp, buddy backs me in after a good rise. Shallow water ramp full of sand from winter floods, sucked the thing full, no water out the pee hole. I had prepped for this, backed up, jacked up the motor and popped the cork on my new cure. Little can of compressed air. Put it to the tube and let her rip. Soon I heard things perking and bubbling, then a hiss out the bottom. Fired up and peee'd a good stream. On to the river run that we had planned. I highly recommend this for those jet runners on here. nomolites, snagged in outlet 3 and tho1mas 2 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. fishinwrench
If it's clogging up your water relief then it's clogging up your thermostat too. Just because you're pissing doesn't mean it's being properly cooled. Does the motor have a overheat horn/buzzer?
jdmidwest
Yes, it does. That year Merc 4 stroke has light and engine throttle down. Ham
I need a little more information. Are you putting the compressed air tube into the indicator outflow and blowing debris "backwards"? I want to see that flow too, but I did think it was an indicator and not the majority of you cooling water. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. jdmidwest
Yes. Did not need the red tube, just the nozzle. Same effect as putting a air hose to it at home. May not clear all of the clog, but opens up the drain. It forces it back down intake tube and out jet foot. Definitely check for sign of over heating before you go get far. Mine has a red led and squealer, and will not power up if gets too warm. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S.
