Catch Co  is making a salt free, 2.5" ribbed craw, ElazTech style product that looks good for 1/16 and 1/8 heads. Without the salt, it should stand tall and proud from the git go.

Have you tried any of them yet?  Looks like a good ned rig bait

I watched a video on this stuff.  It does look like Elaztech.  I wonder if Zman has licensed it.

I have one rigged for the next outing. No salt means the hook and rod hook eye will not rust. I will report.

I will try them after the upcoming freeze. The baits stretch and rebound like elaztech and do not shed salt. I might even be able to leave a rigged jig on the hook between trips!

I fished them a bit last year, had one day where they worked fairly well.  However I didn't see them as being more effective than the 1/2 Zinker as a Ned bait.  However that's just from fishing them a couple of times, more research is needed.  😁

The Suk Bug.

Interestingly, the ones I have are salted. Not like a Zinkerz, but about like a TRD.

It works. Caught a bunch on it up in Fisher. Haven't seen it as a better option yet, but it might be in a particular situation.

Companies keep trying to reinvent the wheel with Ned baits.

the Elastech is the key to the entire system and will never be topped for the Ned.  Do others catch fish?  Sure they do but nothing will catch them as good or last near as long and it's not even close.

More fishing research is always needed!!!!

Yep, and if you're having a bad day fishing, and someone asks you how you're doing, just say that you're doing "research".  😁
