DNR sampling!

They do sewage and mines mostly and run state parks as side line, I didn't think they owned any fish.

Interesting, as I saw them throw small bass into their boat! Maybe tagging them as well!

Nah, those flatheads just need a snack while waiting to be processed.

I was always amazed when they would dump in several bottles of club soda or some sort of bubbly water.  I looked at the biologist with a major WTH look.  He just said wait and watch, you would have thought the fish died they were so quiet.  When we dropped them into fresh water it didn't take long for them to come back to life.  Never had the opportunity to help with catfish so not sure if it works for them or not.
