I bet a year or close to it of shutdowns and quarantines gave those fish time to get fat and big as well with less fishing pressure.

Good to see the lake in such healthy condition.

I saw more boats during the shut down than I have ever....  And it hasn't let up one iota.

I know it sure was fun fishing Phils tourneys this past winter. We boated more 18"+ fish in two months than I have in the past 5 years (excluding the trophy area). We could have had 14lbs+ in each of the three tournaments we fished if we had landed everything. I didn't start fishing his tournaments until 2017 and 8-9# would give you a pretty good chance at placing near the top. It wasn't even worth packing the fish to the scales this year if you didn't have at least 10 lbs. This was mainly big rainbows though. There were a few big browns, but they seemed scarcer than they had been in previous years.

Justification for minimum generation? Maybe ? That would be great.it would hurt wading but maintain the gains long term potentially

In alot of our minds, yes of course.  But to get the powers-that-be to officially sign off on it - very doubtful.  It would mean raising Beaver and TR's power pool level again and I'm not sure I'd be in favor of that.
