Some more history on this canoe.  My uncles dad, owned Hawkins Mill in Springfield on the old Kansas Expressway, and my uncle ran it for many years after.  So his dad and Paul Mueller (Paul Mueller Co owner, where my dad worked for 40 years, the original Paul Dallas as we called him, not to be confused with Paul Mueller) were fishing buddies and used to go out fishing in this very canoe back in the day.  Kinda cool.

Anyway - thanks Gavin.  Talked to Craig at T Hargroves and then his cousin who sounds very experienced in this kind of project as he did a 1927 Old Town Otca.  Looking into getting this fine old boat restored.
