Wow, I was first in line for it. After working in West Africa for years and taking Hydroxychloroquine for malaria I still jumped on the chance for the vaccine. I know 2 good friends that died from Covid and it was a horrible death. Imagine slowly drowning over the course of 4 days and then they put you out and put you on a ventilator, which is the last straw.... And then to top it off the family could not be with them during their last days, hours and minutes...

Imagine voluntarily taking a series of shots, having adverse effects from them that don't go away.....and spending the rest of your days wishing that you would have believed in yourself (and your "god given" immune system) instead of believing in the ones persuading you to take the shots.

 

Imagine taking the shots, having bad/terrible effects from it, and being told to stay quiet about your condition....or else you may not be eligible for any kind of future compensation or rectification.

My thought is if you had hard time with the vaccine you probably would’ve had a real hard time with the disease.  Only makes sense.  

That would absolutely be the case with the old vaccines but I’m not sure about this new one.

Good point.   

But you don't go out and get Covid on purpose.  

Getting the vaccine requires you to do just that.   

Do you roll the dice, or wait for the dice to be rolled for you?

Being a person who doesn't travel far, or often, and hates crowded places.   I think I'm gonna sit back and let all of you social butterfly's put this thing to rest.

I would feel better had I gotten it and got over it than getting jabbed.  I’m firmly on the fence with this deal.

I watched a "thing" (seemed legit) that showed you were better off having gotten it MILDLY than to have not gotten it and gotten the vaccine.    But who knows what's TRUE & REAL ?   

And that was also speaking only in regards to the original strain.   Nobody knows now.   The whole thing has gone completely stupid.

Sugarbritches has gone off to a Beach Boys concert, in spite of me saying I didn't feel like it was a good idea RIGHT NOW.  

One kid is on a Current river float/camping trip. 

Her friend who is staying here is serving food at a lake restaurant 10 hours a day.

Another kid is in Texas hob-nobbing around. 

AND EVENTUALLY THEY ARE ALL COMING BACK HERE !

And then you have Me and the youngest doing our best to stay away from people and on our own property as much as possible.       But what's the point if everyone else living here is out collecting germs ?

Like, how stupid of us to NOT trust our government and scientists to save us from the virus that they purposely created and spread. 

What fools we are!   Only idiots would be distrustful of them, hu?   Good smart people should ALWAYS do what they say?  

I dunno, maybe if they weren't doing all kinds of shady things all the time, and playing word games when describing their actions.....maybe more people could justify believing that they had our best interests in mind.   

This is a tough one, no doubt.  Trust THEM or trust your instincts.     Quite the test.  

 

 

 

                 I did not say you or anyone else is a problem. I simply thanked Seth for being part of the solution. You and everyone has a choice. I am even masking back up in crowds because I can get it , carry it and not even know and pass it on to someone else not vaccinated and this new variant may just kill that person. It is not hard to wear a mask or take the shot. 

   You are right for sure this is a tough decision for some people. I just got word from a friend by text. A friend of his lost his 37 year old daughter, she had a 11 and 13 year old kids.  Oh and Pat says hi. Plus she said to tell you that one of the OB patients she and her doc treats. Non vaccinated got covid. 28 and 34 weeks pregnant. She is now in intensive care on a ventilator in St Luke's maternal fetal medicine. Just a small town girl now with a big problem. Sad deal.

Very sad deal 😔. 

   But like Pete said......She may have been one that had terrible side effects from the vaccine, if she had gotten it, and could quite possibly be in even WORSE condition right now.      

There are ALOT of people who are suffering from getting the vaccine.   You don't get to hear much about that because they want THOSE instances kept quiet.    This is a real thing, it's not just a "conspiracy theory".

I wouldn't know, but I have a gut feeling that there are plenty of people in the hospital as a result of having taken the vaccine.....and the records probably show them as simply "a Covid patient."
