Members bank robber Posted September 16, 2021 Members Posted September 16, 2021 I need help in regards to what everyone is using for the Hummingbird mapping chip. What seems to the best all around value for our Missouri lakes? Thanks for your help! Ed
Dutch Posted September 16, 2021 Posted September 16, 2021 I am using the Lakemaster Great Plains v6 in my Solix.

Seth Posted September 17, 2021 Posted September 17, 2021 If you're only fishing a few bodies of water, you can save some $$$ buying by the lake on Humminbirds Chart Select site. I've only ever really needed one for LoZ and Tablerock so I bought those two and spent about half the cost of the Great Plains chip. If you will need it for more than three lakes though you're better off getting the chip and get all of the.

Champ188 Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Lakemaster Great Plains chip here also. But I pretty much only use mine to run "skint back" in the fog. I learned that trick from some of the best back in my derby days. Plenty of em still doing it. The contour lines are of no use to me. That stuff's for Bill and his Disciples of the Deep. I just run until my screen says 2.0 ft and start chunkin something big and loud. 😆😂 All joking aside, I'm gonna miss running into Bo pretty much every fall/winter trip I'd make up the Kings. None of us know how long we have left, but no matter how long it is for me, there are a couple of spots up there between Viola and Green's that I'll never again drive by without thinking of him.
