Quillback Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Yeah what the heck is an "overload" trucker? Sounds like those guys allowed themselves to be questioned without a lawyer present. Don't talk, get an attorney.
oneshot Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Moon Valley is a place on the river not a town. Windyville is closest town and it is just a spot in the road. Sheriff should have been taking care of it. When we lived there no Law would come to the area. They had the mother of one of my Granddaughters one time. The area to start out with is to be very haunted. oneshot

I assume that they meant "over the road" trucker, since a OVERLOAD trucker would be a whole 'nother crime. As for the questioning.....I doubt that either of those ol'boys could afford a lawyer. And "appointed" ones (public defender's) are a joke. It's easy to convict an innocent person without infringing on their constitutional rights...and that's all a public defender is there for.

Quillback Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 If you can't afford a lawyer, more reason to not say a word.

Quillback Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Looks like they have been charged with kidnapping, which also explains the FBI being involved.

She was there willingly and they were help her out. I wondered if the FBI tip came from someone seeing something online. There's a lot weirder message out there than OA.

They get around that, anytime they want, by claiming to have received an anonymous complaint. Defense Lawyers LOVE IT whenever "anonymous tips" are involved.....cuz that makes it easy money for them eventually. They'll drag it out forever (racking up a huge bill) knowing full well that they are holding the trump card, via the anonymous complaint. It's all a big money sucking game, fed by bored/gung-ho LEO's with nothing better to do.
