Black Friday bite

Picked a good day to make a trip! The jerkbait bite was very good from about 6:30 to 7:30 up near the cable with some variety mixed in..picked up two decent rainbows in the 16-18" range, one small walleye, and then the 3rd rainbow was an absolute bruiser...didn't put a tape to him but the net was not big enough..I'm guessing somewhere in the 20-22" range with shoulders and a gut..

I switched to a black jig for a few casts and landed a tank of a sucker fish..he even went airborn a few times..that gave me a good laugh..switched back to the jerkbait and landed a chubby spotted bass and a few casts later a nice largemouth, my first on Taneycomo

Then the jerkbait went dead so i switched to throwing a black jig and landed 2 more really nice rainbows before calling a day.

There were a few other folks fishing the outlets but other than that I had the place to myself which was wonderful.

The trout, and walleye came on a white shadow rap, the two bass on a silver shadow rap. Jig was 1/16th ounce black
