snagged in outlet 3 Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 If so what do you know about them?
Dutch Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 I have 2 portable generators but neither one is solar. In fact I’ve never heard of them.

snagged in outlet 3 Posted December 29, 2021 Author Posted December 29, 2021 Technically a power station with a solar generator
nomolites Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Does not appear you will have continuous power at any appreciable draw, even with the panels. I’ve used smaller systems like this for cell phones, gps, etc. and they work well as long as they have time to recharge between uses. Mike snagged in outlet 3 1
jdmidwest Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Read an off road article that gave the Jackery a good review the other day. Harbor Freight has them. https://www.harborfreight.com/search?q=jackery Personally, a good gas powered inverter would suit my needs more. I have a smaller battery pack to charge electronics while on campsites. But normally go for a power site to charge the boat. nomolites and snagged in outlet 3 2 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. And ancillary uses in the outdoors when fishing and traveling. I understand the limitations. I think. nomolites 1

I have a small one that I have yet to find a use for. About 16"x16". My "solar generator" is a $40 unit from Wally World that has an input for a solar panel. SHTF, I have the tech to make it work. Those Jackery's running a hot plate burner to cook on might be a stretch. Lots of amps to make btu's just to cook clean. I will light a fire to cook. snagged in outlet 3 and Daryk Campbell Sr 2 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

It went from 50% to 98% charge in about a half hour. Maybe a little less.
