Daryk Campbell Sr Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 I have learned of mirror carp. Well, have known of them for a few years, but always curious about the scales. Are they only where you can see them? In patches? Or ar they just in a pattern that you do not see the less obvious scales? They can be fully scaled or in patches. When in patches, there is no scales in between the larger scales you see. Its just a leathery skin. Leather Carp have no scales...or nearly no scales. So to answer the question raised, the additional koi pictures are fully justified 😉😁 I haven't yet caught either a mirrored or a leather koi or carp. Always thought that they were pretty cool. FishnDave Posted March 31, 2022 Author Posted March 31, 2022 Here's one from the "way back time machine". Fishing during my lunch hour. Yes, I know I'm a geek. 😜: Johnsfolly and Daryk Campbell Sr 2

I fished a lot at lunch when I lived in FL. Would be upset if I didn't catch 20 fish or more. Mostly sunfish and bass. FishnDave 1
