I can't catch them on the Swimz, I know you and Ham do, but I can't make it work.ย I just grind it out with the cut Zinker. It's a touchy feely little bait. I throw it on a little heavier head than you'd expect, at a seriously professional recommendation. And I throw it on a 7' mag-light kind of rod, with 8# braid and a looooong 6# leader. ย Catches every darn species in any lake you drop it in. magicwormman and Quillback 2

Seems weird running that itty-bitty bait with a big head in it, but it works. Quillback 1

I'd think the flipping pitching bite would be awesome with nobody pounding the shallow woodย cover and rock shadows as a lot of anglers seem to have left the banks in search of offshore target fish. This weather has really been up and down, mostly down for sure. Got a dude playing high school baseball and it's taking a lot of tarp work to get games in. I'll be down in 2 weeks so it will be interesting to see where the lake level goes and what water temps end up. April has been very chilly for sure. dtrs5kprs 1

I have one definite pet color for crappie and the unmentionable one works best for bass/walleye. I presume you are referring to our guide friend in the Sooner state? (Although he's a Pokes guy all the way). dtrs5kprs 1
