Some variety from the bank

Started at 5:00 this morning to beat the heat and glad I did...had some decent luck.

Started throwing a jerkbait and missed a few shortstrikes so switched to a black 1/16th ounce jig and caught 5 or 6 and lost several more...all rainbows in the 14-18" range..when the jig bite stopped i switched back to the jerkbait and caught 3 more rainbows and a small brown

 

Things slowed down pretty considerably after the fog burned off but i did manage a pretty little largemouth on a 110+1 and a Beautiful smallie on a hair jig

it had been way too long since i last got out so im glad a gave it a try..happy weelend everyone!
