Bass Action

Thinking about heading down early Saturday morning and hunting some bass. How's the bass action been? Worth the trip from Columbia?

I haven’t been lately but when I have gone it has been tough.  I plan to go to State Park on Friday.  I will try to report back.

Are you going to Old or New State Park. Our Friday nighter is out of State Park Marina 7- 1 Friday night

You are on your own.  I fished from Price’s Branch to Cedar Ridge.  It would have been cheaper and cooler to have stayed home.  Good luck if you try it.

Well that's not too encouraging, I was contemplating coming up myself this weekend.

Just got home. Launched at 7pm and fished til 10. Found fish stacked on a point with standing timber. Caught 9 bass without moving the boat on a square bill.  Changed that up to a drop shot with a red 4” straight tail worm and started hooking again. Great evening to be on the water.
