Bill Babler Posted August 8, 2022 Posted August 8, 2022 Good Grief. Both Wheeler and J. Lou are 100 pounds over the cut line. Lots of have and have nots in that game. Wheeler is on all LM. Got to believe he has brown fish in his back pocket when they run out. Marty Stone said as much. dpitt and big c 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Not sure I understand Wheeler with the crank baits and what depth he is in. Do you think he is cranking near the bottom or mid depth pulling fish off the bottom or throwing to suspended fish????
Bill Babler Posted August 11, 2022 Author Posted August 11, 2022 Good Golly what a catch fest. Connell and Wheeler battling almost fish for fish, with the 2 combined at over 100 pounds In the 1st. period. Dustins best 5 at 24 pounds. The Beam team is pickin, rackin and stackin. We have lots of really good crankbaiters on this site but do you all see the fish your catching? Wheeler said he is seeing every fish and throwing the cranker to them. Said if you miss them by 6' they won't bite. He is now on a drop shot. Dustin has been on it all morning non stop. How about a 7:10 jaw by Ebare, this is just crazy. I'm guessing 115 pounds to win this deal. Two guys are going to get close. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Quillback Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Haven't watched any until just now. Connell is putting some distance between himself and Wheeler.
Members WWM Posted August 11, 2022 Members Posted August 11, 2022 Just got back from 5 days on the water up there officiating. That lake is incredible, by far my favorite of the 3 north lakes I’ve been to. If you don’t have 20 pounds at the local tourney I’m guessing you don’t even show up to weight in. The amount of 3-5 pounders is truly incredible. Didn’t see a single fish that looked in rough shape. Day 1- Camera Transfer Boat Day 2- Alton Jones Day 3- Luke Clausen Day 4- Mark Davis 😃 Day 5- Bobby Lane Over 11 million in career earnings for my draws this week… Mark Davis was a real treat! Him and his wife were awesome. I mean really, where else in the county can you catch a 7lb largemouth and a 7lb smallmouth at any moment? Quillback and MarkG52 2

Quillback Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Connell hung in there. One of these days when circumstances allow, I plan on doing some traveling and fishing some lakes, will have to put Cayuga on the list.
Bill Babler Posted August 11, 2022 Author Posted August 11, 2022 WWM, thank you so much. That had to be simply fantastic to be in the boat with that group of pro’s. I have to say I did get totally sick and tired of hearing about Bass Force. Alton Sr. Seems like a good guy but he was totally outside the box and really a total bore during his time on air. Seemed like the on air crew kind of got a poke or two at him too. I think someone said he might be over cooking it You know there was a bunch of guys that did not catch them. Would love to take a wing at that lake however. Again thank you so much. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

He and his family are by far my favorite people in this game. Just a down home, southern Ark. hick. Their 3 boys are pretty decent with a stick too. That Tilly sure does stay busy with keeping his fans updated. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
Bill Babler Posted August 12, 2022 Author Posted August 12, 2022 WWM, They said today that 7 guys were moving up next year from the TWC. Do the 7 lowest guys in the points standings get cut, or how does that work? They were also talking about someone retiring, was it Elias? http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
