dan hufferd Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 After wiring up the honda si for trailer lights (bet you've never read that before) I had to give it a go, I was hoping to find a river arm out of the wind, but to no. So I put in at mutton creek north hoping to stay out of the wind a little. It was a little work out but not bad. 1st cast yielded a smallmouth that got off at the boat, pb&j trick worm, next came a flat head on a #7 shad colored crankbait, as well as this 15 inch bass. No electronics, no batteries, no motor, lots of fun. In the boat by 3:30pm out by 7:30. Johnsfolly, grizwilson, Bass Yakker and 5 others 8

MrGiggles Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 I fished walleyes a little on 9/10 and the morning on the 11th and didn't have a fish to show for it. Hooked up twice with jigging raps and lost them both. Dragged around bottom bouncers for a while and fed some bluegills, but that was all. Tough fishing. Marked tons of bait and fish all over. A lot bait flipping in shallow water. Quillback and Johnsfolly 2 -Austin

I saw a bunch of fry in the shallows, I'm not sure what they are but you can bet that on these full moon nights every fish in the lake is eating well when we sleep. Johnsfolly Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 @dan hufferd looks like a great way to enjoy the lake plus caught fish is a bonus! dan hufferd 1
