Figured hunters will be posting. 

Well I can't hunt but White Oaks are raining Acorns. 

Need to find a tree where they are feeding.  Find pieces of Acorn and some droppings.  Set up down wind. Should be Fied Dressing if your shot is true.

Oaks are raining acorns here too.  I can no longer pull a bow myself.  Asked the surgeon about it after the first year as I tried to pull my recurve and well let's just say it hurt.  He said NO how about you stick to fishing.  Deal, I sent him a pic of a limit of crappie that night that I caught after getting home.

I had my Gallbladder removed my Doctor said to do nothing for a year. 

Me right! Went hunting with my Son in the mountains as more of a Guide and Camp Keeper. He asked me one time if I should be doing what I was? You going to narc on me?

Well I came away with a nice Hernia. 

Now I just can't even with Crossbow. 

I was out helping with Firewood yesterday it was just nice to do.

Too hot to hang one before I can butcher it. Now it's just about getting right temp wise to make a few sits.

Tonight/tomorrow will be perfect for hanging. Gonna warm back up tho.

I got drawn for a managed hunt so I had to take a doe up front Sunday morning, and yes, took her down and into the freezer quickly.  I did skin her and let her hang in the cool garage with a box fan on her long enough for her to set up a bit so the meat was cool to the touch but I MUCH prefer to hang them a minimum of overnight before butchering.  First time I have taken a deer this early in many years.

Haven't set in a tree for years.  Found it isn't necessary and if I fall it usually isn't that bad.

Killed many Deer while it is warm out. 

Found a mix of Vinegar and Water in Spray Bottle keeps Flies and Yellow Jackets off.

I give up on hunting because I have problems walking and have to have something holding up front part of weapon.

I can kill them when its warm. I just don't like the idea of losing meat due to spoilage in hot or warm weather.

While I was down in NC on Friday you needed an umbrella if you stood under the white oaks. Hundreds of acorns under the trees and many, many more still dropping.
