mic
I want to tie a fly or a jig for a fisherman that trolls for Walleye's in Kansas on an impoundment. I did a internet search and not finding much. I haven't caught a walleye in 40 years so I'm clueless. If you have a recipe or a video, please let me know. tjm
I suspect any baitfish or crawdad fly would work, if you were where te fish is right now, I have never been interested in Walleye but here is an article that might help- https://flylordsmag.com/fly-fishing-for-walleye-how-to/ mic
fishinwrench
I catch walleye on this thing nearly everytime I tie it on. Usually early spring, up the creeks, after a good rain. Swivel and spinner are attached via a loop of 20# fluorocarbon. Just don't hit yourself in the back of the head with it ! 😂 BillT, kjackson and FishnDave

I carry Chartreuse/White, and Black/White. Size#4 34007-SS Mustad. 1/40oz. Lead eyes. Originally I robbed the spinner blades and swivels from 1/16oz. Beetle Spins...... but then @fshndoug hooked me up with a whole bag full of blades, split rings, and swivels that are way better quality. He'll have to chime in and tell ya what size they are. trythisonemv
jdmidwest
Thats a good looking clouser spinner jig thingy you make there. But I bet it is a booger to cast. tjm 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. It takes an open horizontal loop, just like any other Clouser cast. Try to cast it like a dry fly.....and you'll get hurt 🤕 trythisonemv
mic
The best part about not being a good caster is most of my loops are open. 😁 trythisonemv
tjm
I mostly use a "Belgian cast" for spoons and jigs, it keeps those things out of my hair. I'm not sure I can do an open horizontal loop with heavy stuff, I'll have to try that. trythisonemv

Shoot line on the backside until you're ready to let it fly.......then double-haul and shoot it forward. tjm and trythisonemv
