Wagner Arc set complete

          Happiness is completing a set,

A while back I reached out to the online community here to watch for a couple pieces of Wagner Arc cast iron. I thank you all that did look around. I finally found what I needed, and the last piece made it to the house this afternoon. When you open the box and see pool noodles it's a good thing because it was packed with care,thumbnail_IMG_20230103_133209984.jpgthumbnail_IMG_20230103_133222873.jpg

This set goes from 5 through 12 and the 11 seems to be the hardest to find. Circa 1915 to 1920s

That's pretty neat that you can find those old skillets.

It is. They are made really well and will be here for many generations to come. "The hunt" is fun also.

I am in no way close to Marty's league in collecting cast iron. I don't have specific pans that I am looking for at least not yet. However, I enjoy digging through piles of old rusted pans looking for something special.

To me the most visceral aspect of this hobby is that first glimpse beneath the rust and crud at the treasure within 😁. Followed by the feeling of accomplishment in bringing back new life to a forgotten pan.
