Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 6, 2023 Root Admin Posted January 6, 2023 I know this has been discussed in the past but there’s allot of new products out lately. I’m in the market for both. Screen mount- I think I want something that elevates the screen up front on the bow. Right now I have the transducer pole mounted separately, not on the trolling motor but I’m thinking about changing. What I’ve found is if you’re fishing for open water crappie, the trolling motor route is best. If you’re fishing structure, you want the pole. Thoughts?

On Spring River in Oklahoma, I have seen big guide boats with a large stand you speak of going waist height or higher. Members Beasley Posted January 6, 2023 Members Posted January 6, 2023 Best mount I’ve seen is the all aboard mount. Can run it with the trolling motor and pull the pin and run it separately while spot locked. Pretty cool design. Phil Lilley 1

fishinwrench Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Target tracking will be introduced fairly soon, it's all in the marketing strategy. So if that is something you're gonna be interested in I'd wait to buy a FFS unit. Since it bluetooths to your TM I doubt that the previous FFS units will be compatible.

I googled that and didn't see anything. Do you have any news articles you can share links? Sounds interesting.
Maverickpro201 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I found this one the other day and I am considering it. da ducer apparatus® - Podunk (po dungk) A small isolated town, region, or place that is regarded as unimportant. . . . (podunkideas.com)
stinger160 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Check out Railblaza. In conjunction with a track system looks pretty flexible with mounting options. Plan to call them tomorrow to think thru what I need etc.
