mic Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Anyone know a certified casting instructor in STL? I want to learn single hand spay casting and they can not do that Feathercraft. The practice area is to narrow. Or... if you are really good at and would like to share, I can pay in six packs.

Mic, do you know anyone belonging to the Ozarks flyfishers club up your way? Any one of those guys would know of someone. Brian Ellis is a certified instructor. @Gavin I think is a member of that club and might know of an instructor. Daryk Campbell Sr 1 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" fishinwrench Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Where the hell did Matt Tucker run off to? Did he give up flyfishing and take up whorehouse embroidery or something?

I joined the Flyfishers at the Crossing because I had a friend there. Gavin if you can connect me that would be awesome.

tjm Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 I left out the instructors at BSSP, Springfield, Cassville ect.
Gavin Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 Brian Ellis is the only one I know of and he is very good. Bob Temper was in a wheel chair last time I saw. Craig at Hargrove's is pretty good and he gives lessons. I don't instruct casting or fly tying anymore.I've not been involved with Ozark since my 15 year old daughter was born. Matt Tucker is still around. He lives in Jeffco, and plays allot of golf at Fox Run. BilletHead and fishinwrench 1 1
