During Snowmageddon 1994 I sat at the window of my lake house and watched docks flip upsidedown and transformers explode for 3 days straight in all directions.    

No soda, no cigs, no reefer, and no electricity for just shy of a week.  The only thing positive about that adventure was that I knocked up my girlfriend at the time.....and have a super cool daughter to fish with now.  😉

I think everyone that lives in the sticks has one also.

Mine is down by the road.  

Where if it explodes it's really not my problem except for that part about no electricity.
