How much rain?

I just checked my weather ap and it shows a flood warning for a lot of the Table Rock drainage.  It looks like it is already up a foot.  We have standing water all over the yard.  I don’t know how much we’ve had because my rain gauge is not out yet.  The Springfield airport is maybe 10 miles away and they have had 1.92” in the last 24 hours and most of it is headed south.

How much have you guys gotten?

We had just under 3" in our gage here at Cotter. The White River looks the Brown River right now.

3.5” in Berryville…..This where Osage creek dumps into Kings River

3 inches at Shell Knob. Muddy Mess

The Kings river gauge, located in Berryville, jumped from 1,000 CFS to 16,000 CFS and it is still rising.

We had 2.22" at my house that's a few miles east and north of Ozark.  Most of it before midnight.  Finley is bank full, muddy and lots of trash.

The Finley and the James are both rolling high and muddy just south of Springfield. I drove over both of them two or three times today. Table Rock is going to be a mess.....

Table Rock usually rises 1 foot per 1 inch of rain fallen.  Looks like it's going to rise about 3 feet - about right.

Not enough for flood gates on Taney - yet.

Ron Hearst is forecasting another 2-4" Thu-Fri. Ugh.
