Gary and I put in at Hideaway again and ran back to the mud. Its starting to fall out now and clearing up quite a bit. Still pretty murky but not the sassafras tea and milk like someone called it last week. We could NOT get a bite on the bright colored crank baits but instead it was green ned rigs that picked up the most bites. St. Patty's Day, GREEN neds, go figure. I caught a few on the green pumpkin/black flake hula grub too. But.... Dang it was cold. Froze our butts off all day. They bit just often enough to keep us out there. At least this time we remembered the coffee thermos.... Come on guys, get tough. Let's go get 'em. Planning to fish with Ron again tomorrow....

I have never in my life been that mad at any fish ever.  But I'm glad somebody goes out there to keep them on their toes.

I try to do my part.....

No fishing for me lately either.  Just too darn cold and windy.  I am waiting for the March "goes out like a lamb" thing to kick in.
