Red High Temp is what I run in all of my trailers.  Sticky, and does not break apart under higher temps.  If the bearings don't heat up running at 80, the tires will help them warm up.  Seems to keeps its red color when wet, does not emulsify like some of the gray greases do when water is added and become milky.

Grease in a properly sealed and lubed wheel hub fills the void sufficiently enough to allow no room for water intrusion.

Grease in a sealed hub also creeps towards areas of heat/friction and thereby reduces friction and heat.

Red, Purple, Yellow, White, Blue, Brown.....who cares?   Keep the hub sealed and full of it at all times.....and it simply can not fail.

If the seals and the amount of grease in the hub is inadequate then it doesn't matter one bit which brand, what color, or which formula the grease is.

The "Grease" is NOT the key component of a wheel hub.
