Telling me. Their still setting off Fireworks.

Like I told my Baby Sister it don't matter they will set them off no matter what for the Tourist.

Just like this Bridge should have been shut down years ago but it gets so much traffic they couldn't shut it down.

I've heard they are going to replace it. Yea just before it falls it. Can actually see it move and big pieces fall off. We shall see.

Son told him come season I'm might shoot a Deer at the house don't shoot a Horse.

Why not? They are big and don't taste that good.

My wife don't tell your Dad that he will prove you wrong.

Then she went on to tell them I ate many things living with Indians.

All in your head.

Those storms that rolled through last night dumped about an inch of rain on us, one round just after 9PM and another later. Seems like everything greened up already this morning.

Cloudy check the Radar. Big Cell heading right for us.

It disappeared before getting here.

I would laugh but this isn't funny anymore.

Ditto.

This area is the dryest it has been since I moved here 35 years ago.   We are a literal tinderbox.  One carelessly tossed cigarette butt and this whole county could go up in flames. 😳

I'm kinda freaked out about it.   I'm truly surprised that we made it through the 4th of July.  The lack of any significant breeze is the only thing saving us at this point.

I went to a friends house for a 4th of July party. I pointed to the house in back of him that looked brand new. Anderson stickers still on the windows. I said wow they’re still building new houses in this subdivision? He said “No, they had to rebuild the house…it burnt down a year ago today. They left fireworks in the trash can in their garage. Insurance company had to put them in a lease property the whole time. Bet that cost the insurance company a pretty penny on the whole mess when it was all said and done.
