I am making the switch from Humminbird to garmin for my graphs. BS had to 106sv for under $1000. so I got 2 10" units. Humminbird would have been $1500 to replace my one console 9".Haven't had the best of luck in regards to reliability with Humminbird. I have sent units in 3 times. Anyway now I have an Ultrex with a buitin Mega transducer and I need to mount a Garmin tranducer. I have both a GT56uhd and a GT54uhd tranducer. I bought a 93sv for a livescope. Looks like there is going to be a pproble with mounting it. I haven't looked at it closely I'm still working on the console unit but just wondered if anyone has experience with this.

Curtisce I run the 10" on LS, the 93sv is hooked to my Ultrex with the adapter.  With LS I do not need side image on the trolling motor, really do not need the down sonor but it reassures me.  Of course the SI is hooked to console.  The other transducers sit in the shed waiting for my next trip to Truman when I knock one off. You will want all the screen you can get on the livescope  my two cents.

You can use the Minnkota transducer with that graph without a problem, I believe you will need two adapter cables. See the webpage below.

If you do decide to run both Garmin transducers, you can use a band mount for the 2d/di/si transducer and a shaft mount on the livescope transducer. An Ultrex is pretty easy in this regard, as it cannot turn more than 360* like the electric steer motors, nor does it slide up and down in the mount. Just make sure the cables are out of the way of the mount so they don't get pinched in there.

I ran my GT54 to my Ultrex TM and to my Garmin at the bow. Easy peasy

Sell your Garmin 2d transducer and use internal Ultrex it works great with less added weight and things to get in the way. Adapter cable and you are up and running. I am running 106sv with the Ultrex transducer and the LVS34 with no problems at all. I also say the bigger screen the better. BP has the 106sv for $999 worth every penny. Amazing images

My transducer on the ultrex is a Mega. I know they have on that is universal. Not sure mine will adapt. what is your transducer @TRRANGER? it would be great if it did  because I mounted the Garmin tranducer on the minnkota transducer. Here's a picture of my tranducer.unnamed.jpg

Factory i think it was a US2. I tried having Side Imaging on trolling motor and all it did was piss me off. Now with Livescope I dont need SI. Just 2d down, I have mounted my older Humminbird beside my Garmin for mapping and that is working out great.  I would send pictures but my boat is at the shop getting new carpet.
