Bought a pair of Blue Jeans and a Belt today.  Hadn't done this in many years. 

Going to wear Blue Jeans to our Conference even though my wife said don't worry about it.

Well from experience wearing pants of some kind to a conference is preferred by everyone.

Soooo many great choices in Jeans these days.  Which did you pick?

You better get a set of braces to go with that belt. My experience is that belts are just for looks and do nothing to keep your fanny covered.

He will have suspenders and nothing more.

If you suffer from.old man butt then belts merely slow down the fall.  I have not had good luck with most suspenders, ended up buying some from the suspender store on line.  They had snaps that you clip onto belt loops work much better.  And you can buy cheap lightweight cotton dress pants for a lot less than jeans cost anymore.  I can't stand heavy jeans anymore unless it is COLD outside.

Same here. I started wearing the very light weight tan Wrangler pants 3 years ago for work. The only time i wear jeans is my insulated ones for hunting, or headed to a rodeo.

I fear that if I did my mother's ghost would haunt me.  Or patch them during the night.
