Late September River Trip

Took my wife and headed to the river yesterday.   “Working remotely”😁.  Had a beautiful cloudy morning with mild temps.   Never saw another boat.   Pictures are 2 17”s and the 18” was the biggest.   I had another 17”er but didn’t snap a photo.   Plus a bunch of smaller fish.   Great day of catching!    Im going back tomorrow.

Great day of fishing. Topwater? I’ve been doing well with a popper and a Zara puppy over this way on the Sac. Not to mention the Ned with a hellgrammite

Crank.   I’ve been throwing it all year.  Threw it all day again today.   I lost count of all the fish I caught.  Not one over 14” though.

Yeah, but you had your shoes on so that made counting tougher.
