AR Huzgr Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Got out early, first light. Beautiful day today, mostly calm throughout morning. Tried a few new areas. No love for Ned early. Got some on a swimbait, near banks. Moved around a bit trying different areas. Saw a school of bait fish scatter near shore. Threw the trusty bomber 200 past and got a big fat smallie. Best one of the year so far. Went up Indian and got a few more in the trees thanks to Ned. 8 total for morning, all brown except one spot. Water temp 51-53 range. MarkG52, FishnDave, Lance34 and 5 others 8
bfishn Posted March 20 Posted March 20 How far back in Indian did you go? That last 1/4 mile can be awesome when the shad are there. I can't dance like I used to.
Devan S. Posted March 21 Posted March 21 I've been slinking around the dam area a lot lately with the rivers not producing. I'm having a ball with the smallmouth lately on jerkbaits and keitechs and never having to pull the boat along for the trip. I need to check out the back on Indian though and see if I can find some cats. Johnsfolly 1
