fishinwrench Posted June 27 Posted June 27 It only took the bowfishers about 4-5 years to put a noticable dent in the carp & buffalo population here at Lake O . The flats used to be lousy with them....but I haven't seen a single one out on the flats over the last year or so. They are just gone!

I’ve seen some post slaughter boat ramps littered with dozens of them. Carp, buffalo and gar. Once there were a couple mammals in the stink pile. Looked like muskrats maybe. Hard to tell since they all bloated.
