98 and there's still time left today to add a degree or two.  Time for my afternoon stroll, I'll be packing some extra water.

It topped out at 94° here today.  It was 91° when we left Hartley this pm.

Thunderstorm is overhead, getting some much needed rain.  It ought to cool things down a bit too.

Rained on and off all night, and still some T-storms around this morning.  It was needed.  A lot of lightning around 7:30 PM last night it was like strobe lighting out there.  High altitude stuff.

It was 97F on my back porch (north side of house) at noon yesterday and car thermometer (usually accurate) said 101F in Rogers ~4PM.  98F by the time we got back into Mo. around 6PM. And that high altitude lightening a bit later was near enough that twice the whole house shook with thunder. Rain helped though 70F at 5AM today.
