Quillback
Dutch and I hit the water at first light and down the lake we went. A bit cool with a little breeze out of the east, pretty nice morning. Was hoping for an early top water bite, but it wasn't happening, very little top water activity except for gar. We broke out the dragging baits and caught some bass on the c-rigged craw, shakey head, and one or two jig fish. We caught 14 if I remember correctly and 4 were keepers, 3 of the keepers being smallmouth. The fish were shallow, I don't know if we caught any deeper than 15 feet. Rocky, gravelly banks were the best. A fish here and there kind of deal. Very little rec traffic out there today, Big M campground was about empty. Dutch
It was a hint of fall today. The temp was great. Most of the fish that I caught were caught on Shaky using the custom rod that rps built for me. Thanks Randy. Thanks for the invite Jeff. dan hufferd, Terrierman and rps
snagged in outlet 3
2 guys came rolling in our cove about 10 am yesterday both throwing buzzers or whoppers. Couldn’t tell from a distance. I thought they’ll never catch anything. They caught 3 in 10 minutes and one of them was a nice one. Do nothing gravel bank without any cover. All 3 came within a few feet of the bank. 🤷♂️ Quillback and cheesemaster

I bet there will be a lot of top waters being thrown. snagged in outlet 3
dblades
Last week bluegill were being harassed behind the docks where the boat is parked. Then Monday I saw about a 4 pound bass cruising the edge, in the back of Big Bay. Quillback and snagged in outlet 3
