Dutch Posted Tuesday at 09:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:34 PM Fishing today at Table Rock reminded me of that old movie as it was a bad day at the rock. Jeff joined me this morning. I hadn’t been there in several weeks and knew nothing. We started at a steep bank and Jeff caught a few. I was busy with a sonar unit that wouldn’t work. We struggled all over the lake and never could find a pattern. It was a fish or two then nothing more in the area. Name a kind of place and we fished it. The sky was blue. The wind was light. The water was 62° about 2’ down. We wound up with 20 mostly spots and most of them were sub 15”. Dewayne French, Johnsfolly, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 4
pstone Posted Tuesday at 09:52 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:52 PM Dutch, did you guys launch out of Cape Fair? I thought about heading down there Friday about mid morning. Might need to wait a bit.
Dutch Posted Tuesday at 11:00 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 11:00 PM Yes we did. The water color is good and there is very little debris.
pstone Posted Tuesday at 11:09 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:09 PM Thanks for the update, Dutch! Gonna be chilly Friday but I might get out for a little while. Wanted to see if the rock crawler bite is any good yet.
Quillback Posted Wednesday at 12:06 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:06 AM Thanks for the trip Dutch! It was a slow day. Nice day however, saw 72 degrees on the way home. snagged in outlet 3 1

pstone Posted Wednesday at 09:34 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:34 PM I certainly will submit a report if I do get out. Daryk Campbell Sr 1

pstone Posted Friday at 11:00 PM Posted Friday at 11:00 PM We put in at Cape Fair this morning at about 10:00. Water temp was 58 degrees and there was a pretty good breeze most of the time. I threw a couple of crankbaits and only caught 3 and had 1 come off. No keepers, but a Kentucky bass was close. Caught the bigger one on a gravel dawg (green gourd) and the others on a rock crawler (stone cold and red craw). Fished steeper, rocky banks with a little wind blowing in. It was tough for us today. My friend caught a 3 lb LM on a wobble head with a Berkley craw near a dock in about 30 ft of water. High skies all day, but decent wind and thought we would do better. Saw quite a bit of shad, mostly out in middle of coves/creek and tried to get them take a swimbait but had no luck with that. We put the boat on the trailer about 2:15. Most of the fish I saw on the Livescope were out deep today. It was a bit chilly all day. snagged in outlet 3 and Quillback 1 1
