Smithvillesteve Posted Friday at 06:07 PM Posted Friday at 06:07 PM Thanks for sharing Quill. Interesting article. I have a few jigging raps in my aresenal but have only used them at Stockton lake for walleyes. Lmtout took me and buddy out and showed us how to use them and he caught one on his first cast. Made a believer out of me. Looks like a warming trend is coming up. Hope you boys get out and fish and let us yanks up north know how you're doing. Quillback 1

Dutch Posted Friday at 07:04 PM Posted Friday at 07:04 PM Interesting. I didn’t know that Tim was still around. I haven’t seen him in years, since I had one of his boats on consignment. I’ll bring some next time we go and you can show me how to catch fish on them. Quillback 1
rps Posted Friday at 07:22 PM Posted Friday at 07:22 PM Many people cut off the two single hooks on each end. Fewer hangups. Important, because drop offs to deep channels still have wood, fences, and junk. If you are fishing in the channel itself, it doesn't matter, but if you are fishing places like any side of the Devil's Backbone, it will matter. EDIT: There are no fish around there. I was using it as an example of terrain. nomolites, Macsimus and Quillback 1 2
