I have been away from TR long enough that I no longer feel I need to protect spots.

Someone send me a file with with an outline map of Big M and up river that I can edit and annotate. If you do, I will edit it and add what I learned.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge.  I wish I was smart enough to send you what you want, but I’m not.  I just wish you had the information on the Kings.  It’s people like you who make this site what it is!

Tanks again!

I kept looking and could not find the map I wanted to use. I bought one of the tyvek fishing maps and I will trace the lake and annotate it. Probably 4 or 5 panels from Houseman to Emerald Beach. This will be a long project, but I will start up river and post as I work down lake.

I looked all over and couldn’t find one either.  I wondered if tracing my map would work but was unsure.

@rps I'd sure be interested in what you know about this bend. Upstream from Beaver but downstream from cow patty.

Its a long deep section but I never see anyone really fishing that area.

Just above the red circle on the right side of the river, you can see an island. The both sides of the island have submerged trees.. I have caught multiple walleyes on the channel side and both long points. Between the island and the bank on the non channel side, morning top water fishing can be good at times in May/June. Across the river on the left side and a little bit upstream, see the cuts? They hold bass. Try it early mornings and when Beaver is releasing cold water. Top waters, buzz baits over and around the timber, and finesse worms (or Neds). On the outside bend, I have never caught large numbers, but what I did catch bit wacky rigged senkos up against the bluff.

My tyvek Table Rock map has arrived. The drafting pens as well. Tracing paper is due Saturday. I have reviewed the map, comparing it to memory. This will be fun.
